Founder Sherry Lee Crews:

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Miss Celebrations USA National Pageant.

The Year 2020 will undoubtedly go down in history as one of ht most challenging years that our country has ever faced. I don't believe that there is a family in our great country that wasn't in some way affected by the virus. The Pageant industry was hit extremely hard by the COVID 19 pandemic. By the very nature of our business, we are a "Social" organization. Now it's time to rebuild. It will take time, work, and dedication. I believe that this rebuilding process will be better served by a younger more active national director and team. So...it's time for me to step down and let the next generation of leaders take the major roles into the future of this amazing program.

It is with great pride that I announce the new National Director of Miss Celebrations USA and Americas Miss Agribusiness Rebecca Crews. Along with Dwight Lamar CrewsIII (Trae) as the CEO of the company, Rebecca has the desire, drive and energy to lead this organization into the future.

Hello! My name is Rebecca Crews, your new National Director of Miss Celebrations USA and America's Miss Agribusiness!

It is an honor to have Sherry pass on to me her pageant programs along with all her experience and guidance. Together with my husband Trae, and our Associate National Directors, I will work hard to uphold the integrity of the programs that Sherry has created.

As Sherry has stated, this next year will be a time of rebuilding and recovering from the pandemic. Covid-19 has hit us all in some way or fashion. You will see some changes in both pageant systems. We will still be the fun and loving pageant that you have come to know and love!

Associate National Director: Lori Chitty

Lori and her husband Steve have been married for almost 30 years. Together, they have 5 children and 10 grandchildren. In the past 25 years, Lori has been an active Girl Scout leader, cheer and dance mom, and of course a pageant mom. She has been a State/Regional Director for a national pageant system for five years and loves to work with contestants of all ages. While working full time for an oral surgeon, she still finds time to help her community and to encourage others to do the same. Through pageants, she has been able to help collect thousands of nonperishable food items for food banks throughout Florida and Georgia. In her spare time, Lori enjoys trading her house in the big city of Jacksonville, Florida for their 5thwheel in the woods to go “glamping” with the family.

Associate National Director: Laura Herrera

Laura is a lifelong Hoosier and resides in Cicero, Indiana. She and her husband, Ponce, enjoy being empty-nesters and living on the lake. Their children are entering their last year of college and they are excited to see what adventures await their young ladies. Laura’s interest in pageants began as a way to instill the importance of community service in her daughters. Through “beauty in action”, the girls were able to use their pageant titles to raise awareness, help causes, and raise money and food for non-profit organizations. Laura leads by example. She and her family participate in an adaptive water-ski two day clinic each June at Morse Reservoir. This adaptive clinic sponsored by the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana and the Indiana Water Ski Association allows individuals with disabilities to enjoy a water sport in a new way. Laura believes that if she leads the way by participating in community service projects, the young ladies she meets will be inspired to do the same.

Preliminary Director: Carrie Burchett

Carrie grew up in the Northwest, in a small town in Oregon. She moved to Mississippi in her early 20's. She now lives in Diamondhead, ms with her Husband Tim and daughter Brianna. Carrie studied dance growing up and started as a dance instructor in 2003. She got involved in pageants when Brianna decided she wanted to a pageant at the age of 10. They started competing with Sherry in 2014 and over the years they became family. Even after Brianna stopped competing in pageants Carrie, Tim, and Brianna still did all they could to help support Miss Celebrations USA.

Now that Brianna is in college Carrie has decided to join her pageant family as a director. She hopes to become a mentor to young ladies and help teach them the meaning of "Beauty by Action."
